Outlander Carolina Shawl Knitting Pattern

If you’ve been watching the Outlander TV series, you may have noticed the very distinctive crossover triangle shawls Claire wears in Season 4.

This shawl knitting pattern is inspired by the brown shawl Claire wears in Season 4, Episode 1, “America the Beautiful,” and throughout later episodes.

The shawl is designed to wrap around your body and tie at the back, creating a cozy, wearable crossover shape that stays in place.

• S/M: 6 balls

Yarn substitutions:  “I Love This Chunky Super Soft” (Hobby Lobby) in Mocha and Cool Black

• 8mm (US 11) circular knitting needles  (40” / 100 cm cable — not joined in the round)
• 10mm (US 15) circular needles for casting off
